Il nous aura fallu beaucoup de temps pour réagir  à ce drame auquel nous sommes tous confrontés. Le Silence s’est d’abord imposé comme une rigueur mais nous réalisons aujourd’hui qu’il est impossible de continuer à poster sur le blog sans lui rendre hommage.

Nos pensées vont en premier à ceux qui ont perdu un Père, un Fils ou un Frère, en espérant qu’il trouveront assez d’amour et de courage pour faire face à la pire injustice. Nos pensées vont à Ed banger, ses frères de sons, sa famille de coeur mais aussi à tous ceux qui ont fait partie de son entourage proche. Nos pensées vont à ceux, qui comme moi, n’ont pu partager que quelques conversations avec lui et dans lesquelles ils ont pu ressentir sa passion et sa gentillesse.

L’histoire retiendra certainement son génial talent dans le domaine du rap ou de l’electro, mais sa force demeure dans l’idée qu’il n’a appartenu à aucun de ces mouvements. Il restera l’incarnation de la plus belle des causes, celle pour laquelle chaque artiste doit dédier sa vie : La liberté.

It took some time for us to react about this tragic event we’re all facing. Silence first appeared like the best move until we realized that we just can’t keep on posting some stuff here without leaving a tribute.

Our first thoughts are with the ones who lost a father, a son or a brother. We hope that they will find the love and the courage that they need to face the worst injustice. Our thoughts are with Ed Banger, his brothers in sound, family forever.  Our thoughts are with all the ones who had the chance to be part of his closest entourage.Our thoughts are with the others, just like me, who only had only a few conversations with him, enough words to feel his passion and kindness.

History might remember his genius talent for rap and electronic music but his real strength will remain in the idea that he didn’t belong to any movement. He is the incarnation of what every single artist should dedicate his life to : Freedom
